Sir,

I have the honour to transmit copies of the

correspondence noted in the margin regarding the grant of a pension to Ismail Khan, a Constable in the Hongkong Police Force, in respect of his previous service as a private in the late Hongkong Regiment.

2.

I should be glad if inquiries could be made at the India Office as to whether the Government of India are prepared to grant this officer any pension in respect of his service in the Hongkong Regiment.
